Democracy requires All Hands On Deck!

Friends,

I'm getting extremely excited for our big events coming up in April.

First, on Friday, April 5th, we are hosting a huge fundraiser for Katrina Owens (who is now the ONLY candidate in the race against Aaron Freeman in Senate District 32).

Thanks to a donated venue, donated food, and donated liquor, we are able to provide fancy and awesome food and drinks for anyone who attends. If you've never been to the Inferno Room, you are in for a real treat. This isn't just another tiki bar - the venue features one of the largest collections of authentic Papua New Guinea art in North America. Your entrance ticket will provide you with appetizers, a signature cocktail, and the ability to sample multiple delicious and rare rums.  We will host a silent auction featuring some really cool items.  And of course, you'll get the chance to talk to fellow activists and high-five them for helping save the Blue Line.

Click here to RSVP for the event.

And email me if you're interested in helping set up the silent auction!

Next, on Saturday and Sunday, April 6th and 7th, we are hosting the largest political training in Indiana so far this year. Indiana candidates from across the state will be joining us in Indianapolis to learn and teach the best strategies and tactics for fundraising, canvassing, volunteer recruitment and management, and campaign management. Whether you're a total political amateur who has never knocked a door, or a grizzled veteran of dozens of campaigns, there will be something for you this weekend. We once again have a donated venue, and my campaign is paying for coffee and lunch both days, and even overnight lodging for anyone coming from out of town who needs it.

Check out the full event description and agenda on the RSVP page!

The Saturday and Sunday events are totally free to participate in.  But do be sure to RSVP so we can make sure to have enough food and coffee for everyone! This will also help us make sure to have something you can eat if you have any dietary restrictions. And you can use the form to request anything from the training you don't see already on the agenda!

Politics is all about collective action and collectively solving problems. Learn the skills that helped flip a Statehouse seat Blue in 2022 and helped me defeat an incumbent with no endorsements and much less money in 2023.

I'll share yet another email later this week, with two weeks worth of updates from me. But I wanted to share the RSVP links as soon as I could so you could start getting hyped for the fundraiser and training along with me!

In love and solidarity,
Jesse
