People Powered Campaigns: Democracy is in YOUR Hands

Hey everyone!

Just a reminder that the People-Powered Campaigns training weekend starts TOMORROW! Coffee will be ready for you at 9:30 am at our venue.

Please bring a laptop if you have one! That's not a requirement for the training, but it will help you follow along slide decks and take notes more easily. We will have paper, pens, and sticky notes provided.

As of right now we are all set on coffee and have tons of fruit, plus lunch and tons of snacks throughout the day, but have no other breakfast items.  Plan to either eat first or bring a breakfast food to share for extra credit.

We'll discuss this in person, but if you are interested in taking the "Campaign Management" track, you should be familiar with VAN (Voter Activation Network, a software tool) and ActBlue (a fundraising tool).

If those terms are totally new to you, you can still have a great time at this event, we'd just recommend you take either the Fundraising or Field Canvass tracks.
